Overall Responsibility
To implement the comprehensive biomedical services program. To support PrEP initiation for at risk MSM and facilitate STI and TB screening and treatment support.
- Implement the MSM comprehensive biomedical services within Mopani District to achieve results against set objectives
- Work with the outreach team to get referrals and offer health education, PrEP initiation for at risk MSM.
- Provide follow up care for MSM on treatment in line with DoH HIV Management guidelines as well as Facility 95-95-95 plans
- Identify poor performing indicators, put together quality improvement (QI) plans and implement as agreed upon with the Program Manager and outreach team
- Support PSS Team to implement I-ACT support groups for MSM
- Assess and identify capacity needs of Peer Navigators, Linkage officers and HTS counsellors and Provide support as required
- Provide oversight of work done by Peer Navigators, Linkage Officers and HTS counsellors to manage performance and target setting
- Work with the M&E team, Site Coordinator and Team Leader to ensure all program related data is collected accurately and timeously and ensure collected data is utilised to inform and redirect program implementation
- Assist Data team during monitoring and verification visits.
- Provide oversight in compiling weekly, monthly and quarterly plans
- Assist in driving Outreach Teams
- Compile monthly and quarterly reports as required by IHPS and donor
- Attend program meetings and represent IHPS in different platforms as required
- Assist in other related responsibilities as assigned by the line manager
- A qualification as a Professional Nurse with registration as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council
- NIMART trained and certified as competent to work independently
- At least 3 years’ experience in working in HIV environment, NGO experience
- Familiar with latest HIV Management, STI and TB and guidelines
- Driver’s License
- Leadership and management abilities
- Innovative thinking and initiative
- Good writing and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal, and cognitive skills
- Ability and willingness to travel
